OUR STORY.
BEGINS WITH
Kimyra

Changing Hands was born from unimaginable loss — the tragic death of Founder Latiece Miller’s daughter, whose life was full of laughter, joy, dance, and a little sass. Taken by gun violence in Milwaukee, her passing left a deep impact on the hearts of many, especially the youth who were drawn to her radiant, energetic spirit. In that moment of grief, Latiece knew she was called to be the change her daughter never got to see. What started as a response to pain became a mission rooted in healing, hope, and action. Today, Changing Hands empowers youth through mentorship, emotional support, and community engagement — honoring a life that still inspires movement and meaning. Every workshop, partnership, and event is a reflection of love turned into legacy.
